All the exchange students had to go to a parade today. It was brazilian independence day. We all had to walk in it and ironically ´´it rained on our parade´´.. Really, really hard but I was able to meet a bunch of foreign exchange students and it was fun. After, we went to a BBQ at Lindsey´s house, I ate a lot of meat again. After we went to the shopping mall which is soo expensive. A pair of shorts is 100 reais. Good thing I packed a lot. : ). Yesterday was really nice, My family and I drank coconut milk, walked along the lake, ate candy apples, and sang High School Musical songs together. We saw lots of cappybarra running around and swimming through the lake. They swim so hilariously because they stick their heads out of the water and their bottoms too and sort of doggy paddle. Things are starting to get easier, I am really appreciating everything I have here. A beautiful family, home, friends, and nature.
