OI!

I feel as if I have finally gotten settled here. My family here is so nice and helpful. They are always smiling and make me feel as if I am part of the family. The kids in my school are incredible. They are all such good friends with each other and even the teachers. They have grades for very young kids to the last years of highschool and it is as if age doesn´t matter because all people are friendly towards each other. They students invited me to a brazilian country concert. I went to a Rodeo, which is nothing like the Rodeos here. I went in jeans and my converses and came to realize when my friends picked me up you get really dressed up and where heels, and in fact it is a giant concert in a giant warehouse to certanaisa. which is brazilian country music.. I had a lot of fun and learned to dance the samba. I was horrible. I have spent the night at a few peoples houses and learned so much portugese since nobody here can really speak English. I have made a really good friend in class named Wellington who speaks English and helps me explain stuff when I get stuck. The rotary kids come over sometimes when we are all just tired of speaking portugese. It is so beautiful here because Brazilian people just appreciate what the have, I feel like Americans are always striving to want more. People here i think are a lot more happy because of it : ).
