Rotary Week
All week I have been waking up to meet up with other rotary students. We have been doing all sorts of organized activities from listening to lectures to going to water parks. This morning I had something very funny happen. My mother woke me up at 630 in the morning and told me to leva my bikini. I had just woken up and my brain had not really turned on. I was confused why was she asking me to wash my bikini. I kept saying ``I do not need.`` She inisisted. So I got up and started washing my bikini ( they do not have dryers here so I was kind of not happy since I was going to have to wear a wetbathing suit a while) and my mom walks in and is like Why are you washing your clothese. I said You told me to. She started laughing really hard.. No not lava .. leva.. Leva means take ... Lava means wash. We were standing in the kitchen together laughing so hard. I have been spending a lot of time with friends at school going to various festas like carnariopreto. Since carnival is so far from here they throw a minicarnival right here in our city. A giant truck (like twice the size of a semi) is completely filled with speakers and has a band that plays on top of it and everyone runs around this giant moving stage and dances. It sounds crazy, and it is, but soo much fun!!! I am traveling to Sao Paulo this weekend to go see Ben Harper and Dave Matthews so I am very excited. Tomorrow, I am learning how to samba with the rest of the exchange students. Beijo xoxo
